I rented this ocean facing condo for the period April 28 through May 11, 2012. The condo has all the amenities. The building is very secure and the view, roof top pool and location are outstanding. This is the fourth time I have rented in this building and it will certainly not be the last

I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years and this is the 5th place I have stayed at. This is where I will continue staying as it is by far the best in so many ways. Location, location, location, what more can be said. Beachfront with spectacular ocean and city views. The city views are breathtaking because the Old Town of Vallarta is buit up a bowel that cascades into the sea. Many restaurants are all within walking distance as are many bars with all kinds of nightlife. WE stayed in Jeff Musto’s unit 306 March 2011 which was very well maintained. I enjoy cooking and every utensil I needed was available. The king size bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space as I am a heavy packer. The room was cleaned very well every other day. There is a large gas grill on the rooftop next to the pool that is available for a small fee. Ah the rooftop pool! The plantings are very well maintained but I must admit that the water was a bit cool but very refreshing if you got too hot while sunbathing. The views from there were wonderful and there was a community fridge which was convienent if you wanted to keep some beer cold. I don’t spend all day in the sun like I used to so the covered area was a real treat. I could drag my chaise under the roof and still enjoy the pool and roof top views. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers on this floor which we used mainly for our beach towels and beach shorts and T shirts.

The building is very secure as the front gate is locked at all times. You must ring a bell and then the person at the front desk buzzes you in. There is a computer in the loby that is available for a nominal fee. WE had a laptop so we did not use it but I saw others did. There is a small central courtyard that is well planted and is a nice place to gather if you are going out with others from Plaza Mar for a night of merry making. The entire building is kept very clean which is no small task since most people keep their windows and doors open. Speaking of doors, all units have an iron grill which locks over the front door so you can leave the door open for cross ventilation. WE felt totally secure and are anxious to return to what I feel is the best location in PV. WE were there during the “owners annual meeting” so we got to meet several of them. They all seemed to take pride in the building and in their unit.

This year we are returning in Oct for 3 weeks. Several years ago I went the in Oct and there were spectacular thunder storms in the evening with wonderful lightning effects. I am hoping for a return performance as the views from the balconys would be superb. I have stayed several times at another large complex very very near Plaza Mar and it does not compare in so many little ways. Plaza Mar is a star in the crown of the Romantic Zone.

plaza mar 306; Close to everything

PLace was really nice- especially the area. Close to everything. Condo had “most” of the amenities needed. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Pretty much 95% satiusfied.

Alao a little surprised we had to pay for use of the BBQ.

Overall very good place and we would return.

Casa Vizcarra 2; I always felt safe in this neighborhood

I stayed at Casa Vizcarra 2 April 14 – 16, 2012. Jeff was already there to greet me, show me the studio & answer all my questions about the neighborhood and Puerto Vallarta. I always felt safe in this neighborhood even late at night walking home alone. It was great to explore Puerto Vallarta and the studio was a perfect location for this. Plenty of places to get food – vendors and restaurants. A short walk to the malecon and plenty of adventures. Thanks again, Jeff.

Plaza Mar 606; I cannot recommend this place enough

Everything about this condo is terrific. The bed was comfortable and the window in that room is close enough to hear the surf as you go to sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary stuff – so I cooked quite a bit with local ingredients! The bathroom shower was a welcome massage after hours spent at the rooftop pool. The dining and living areas are spacious and comfortable.

Most enjoyable was the terrace overlooking the town square – great for people watching, and for seeing the Mexican dance competition one night! Views of the ocean to entertain you for hours.

I cannot recommend this place enough – the location is unbeatable. It’s clean, secure, and has helpful staff. The rooftop pool is wonderful for spending a day relaxing, and for seeing the sunset in the evenings!

Book a room here and have a great vacation! This was my 2nd time at Plaza Mar, and won’t be my last!

Plaza Mar 602: The rooftop pool is a beautiful

We stayed at Plaza Mar, Unit 602, March 31-April 14, 2012. This was our second year staying in this unit. Everything about it is perfect. The location is just where we want to be. The breeze in the unit is beautiful…never closed the doors, never turned on the air conditioning. The rooftop pool is a beautiful, quiet place to watch the sunset every nite. The unit, as well as the building, is impeccably maintained, the staff is very friendly and attentive, the building is completely secure. This was our tenth time in Vallarta, and we intend to return next year and stay at Plaza Mar. A special thank you to Aaron for providing transportation to and from the airport, some great conversation and stopping at the grocery for us on the way to the condo.

We liked the location, The unit itself was very nice, bright and very clean. We did not use the air conditioning as their was great cross breezes throughout the condo. Enjoyed the pool area very much. The entire building is well kept and our cleaning lady was wonderful. This condo is great as it is close to everything and easy access off the road. Just remember it is 53 steps to your unit – Good for the leg muscles.

Thanks for the condo. We had a great time and will come again maybe a two bed room if we bring the kids. The best location. went to some great restaurants with our friends who live there.

We loved the location of Plaza Mar as it is right in the midst of everything we love about Puerto Vallarta–the beach, the ocean, the Malecon, the festivities, the music and the wonderful food!

All in all, we had a wonderful visit in Puerto Vallarta (our 5th time there), and would stay at Plaza Mar again.
