We rented this condo for the month of December, 2011. The condo was great…all the accomodations of home. The view was fantastic. An oceanview was certainly a plus. The washer and dryer were definitely a big plus. We were especially pleased with the cleanliness of the place. Gloria, housekeeper, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The management staff were very accomodating. We loved the fact it was a walking area close to the town, beach, and especially the malecon. The only drawback was the climb up the hill. It proved a little bit difficult for an older member of the group. Otherwise, an incredible way to spend the holidays. A great experience was had by all.

January 7th-21st, 2012, Another great vacation in Puerto Vallarta! The PlazaMar is the place to be. Have stayed many times and am never disappointed. The staff is like family; always friendly and ready to assist. Maid service is great, Accomodations are wonderful, Close proximity to all amenities and the property is spotless and very well maintained. Making reservations through Jeff Musto is effortless and secure. Have met many nice people within the building through the years; quiet and respectful. Can’t wait to return next year! January 2012 – one week

We moved into this unit after being in Casa de Dante for two weeks with my daughter, son-in-law, and 3 month old granddaughter as they had left for home. Going from a 2 bedroom unit to a studio, we were pleasantly surprised to see how large it was. It was a great unit for just the two of us, plenty of room, great view of the hillside and street to ocean. This side of the building proved to be very quiet at night, which was great for a good night’s sleep. The TV set (very importatnt to my husband) was new and had all the US channels. The kitchen was very well equipped for a unit this size, we were very impressed. Again, we would definitely return to the Selva Romantica and we hear that the pool will be definitedly heated next year. Ah yes, as I mentioned above in my first review of Casa de Dante, the gardens and pathways are gorgeous, the pool, hot tub and views are to die for, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and with the pool heated, all will be a perfect paradise! Plaza Mar 202, the condo is clean and well kept

We stayed in Plaza Mar 202 for 2 weeks in January 2012. The location was perfect, the condo clean and well kept and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The condo had everything we needed, including blenders, cooking utensils etc. We are planning to return as soon as possible.

Thanks again for a wonderful stay at Plaza Mar! I have been staying in various condos in this building for over twenty years and prefer Plaza Mar to every other place in Vallarta. The location is perfect; you can walk everywhere. Condo 303 was delightful. Spacious and clean as a whistle. Love the size of the balcony and the view to the ocean through the palm trees. Of course, the sound of the waves at night is music to the ears. We always feel like family when we return as all the folks at the front desk give us warm welcomes.

Plaza Mar 402; clean, bright and breezy

Our 4 nights in late November 2011 were most satisfactory. All of the staff were helpful. The location was fantastic, great restaurants all around us. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio watching the world go by, the sunsets were awesome! The roof-top pool was lovely and well maintained, with good shade areas as well. The view from there was great. We had a wonderful time in 402 and would be happy to stay there again.

We were very impressed with this unit. Great views from the french doors, 3 balconies,corner unit, wonderful beds with great linens, no pilling with these sheets. A very spacious unit as well. Of course the Selva Romantica complex of buildings, gardens and pools are the best!! It is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax when you want to get away from the beach. The free phone calls to anywhere in North America and the wireless even at the pools were fabulous “perks”! The master bedroom was really beautifully decorated and the Hunter Douglas shades was another added bonus in the living room area….you could still enjoy the views, but with some shade. We spent two weeks in this unit with another couple and there was plenty of room. Highly recommend.

Hi Jeff…we have just returned from our week in PV in Mangos 5…it was wonderful. We loved our condo and really enjoyed having our own space to spend a holiday time. The complex is close to everything and once we got our legs and figured out where to buy groceries, the rest was easy. The pool was the highlight…we didn’t even get into the ocean because the pool was so great. Not crowded, lots of shade and the salt water infinity pool was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening too! It was great to have Aaron pick us up at the end of our week and take us back to the airport. He is professional and friendly. We would recommend this accommodation to others without hesitation.

Selva Romantica Amazona #1

There is this glorious place called Selva Romantica in Puerto Vallarta that is nothing short of paradise. With all the news recently coming out of Mexico, people are terribly cautious about travelling there. When you arrive in Puerto Vallarta, nothing could be further from the truth. Further, the lock down security at the Selva Romantica complex is only re-assuring, You need a key to get in and a key to get out, a key for the gate on our unit and two keys for the door to enter. There is a locked cupboard for passports and computers as well. We were greeted, right at the gate, but our host Arron. A terribly friendly fellow who showed us all of the amenities of the complex. There are several exits off to the four corners of the Romantic Zone. The beach is a measly two blocks away, as well as the wonderful shops restaurants and excursions that wait your turn. Our unit was like something out of Arcitectural Digest. The floor to ceiling windows opened to the warm Mexican breeze. There was a perfect flow to the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, double size living room and kitchen that was styled for an executive chef. The kitchen had everything a chef could ever need, gas stove, dozens of pots and pans, giant sub zero freezer and a margarita machine that whipped up dozens of blender drinks without a single glitch. We had a wrap around balcony with an outdoor dining table that was nothing short of paradise. Beautiful bed linens, colourful place matts and enough cushions to turn the place into a harem. The place instantly made us relax and jump started our vacation. Travel clothes were discarded and shorts and suntan lotion were applied on as we immediately began to enjoy our vacation. This place is all about pampering. The infinity pool, that was maybe 15 steps away, is refreshingly inviting and stunningly beautiful. The hot tub dictates warm relaxation as you look out over the Banderas Bay, only to be disturbed by a jumping whale or passing parasailing. No detail has been overlooked from an outdoor kitchen and common dining area to the state of the art gym.

We cooked and ate and laughed and relaxed. Slept like baby’s only to wake up to glorious warm sunshine. At night the sunsets would blow us away. The only disappointment was we could not photograph the sunset as well as mother nature had planned it. Selva Romantic is a paradise. 24 hour lock down security with several guards roaming the grounds at night, there is no concern for feeling unsafe. The last day, we were all terribly sad as we plotted to stay another week. Arron showed up, on que to take the keys and do a walk through. He even drove us to the Airport and saw us off to finish the perfect vacation. I would highly recommend Selva Romantica to anyone looking to have a perfectly relaxing and rejuvenating vacation in paradise.

Just returned from PV –Stayed in 505 at Plaza Mar. Loved being able to actually cook in the kitchen. View and location were great as was the entire staff. The view from the very generously sized balcony was wonderful — loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The condo was very clean and totally bug free!
