Surrounded by exotic trees and lush tropical gardens the "Selva Romantica" (Romantic Jungle) community enjoys sweeping 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, the Old Town of Puerto Vallarta and the Sierra Madre mountains. It's a small, quiet, gated community just a few minutes' walk from the oceanfront, the Malecon, the art galleries, the boutiques and an amazing selection of restaurants. The landscaping, the infinity pool and the views are astonishing and it's hard to believe that such a tranquil paradise is only a few minutes away from the restaurants and nightlife of downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Selva Romantica has one of the largest infinity pools in Puerto Vallarta with a huge palapa in the pool area which is great for social events. There is also a well-equipped fitness center above which is a sundeck for absorbing a daily dose of Vitamin D and watching the sunset over the Bay.

Selva Romantica Paraiso #8 was new in 2006 and is on the ground floor of a 4 story building in the complex right opposite the administration office and at one of the main entrances. We really appreciate this location when we come back from a serious grocery shopping trip and can take our cab right to our front door and have no steps to climb. We also enjoy our wonderful patio with the large tree growing up through it – we are one of the few studios in the complex that has a patio. It's a joy to have breakfast on the patio and watch the sun rise over the mountainside, to have dinner on the patio and see the sunset colours in the sky and then light our candles and pour the wine.

Selva Romantica Paraiso #8 is well equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a queen size bed, a sofa bed, computer desk and chair and lots of clothes storage. There is a shared washing machine and dryer in a separate laundry room a short distance from the unit. We have cable television service, high speed internet, DVD player and radio/cd player. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, fridge, water dispenser, toaster, sandwich maker, blender, juicer, electric kettle and coffee maker. The patio has an umbrella and table and chairs for 6 people
