In this video, I provide an example of one expat couple’s expenses for 2020 living full time in Puerto Vallarta.

CORRECTION: An alert viewer noticed that my numbers don’t add up! The total, $39,500 is wrong. The individual expenses are correct, and the correct total is approximately $31,650. What happened is during the year I began working as a real estate agent and had expenses related to that, which I didn’t mean to include in the total because I don’t consider them “living expenses”. Apologies for getting that wrong!

We Moved to Puerto Vallarta Mexico which is known for its sun and sand, delicious food, a fantastic art scene, spectacular wildlife and its wonderfully friendly people.

Located about half way down Mexico’s pacific coast this charming city sits at the foot the Sierra Madre Mountain range on Banderas Bay, the largest bay in all of Mexico and one of the largest in the world. The location is absolutely stunning and lends itself to a wide variety of activities ranging from sublime relaxation to the incredibly adventurous.

Our plan is to spend the next several months exploring the area. In future videos we will take a deeper dive into what there is to see and do in Puerto Vallarta.

This is our very first vlog and we hope you enjoyed it.
