As many of you know (from my last video) I explained that, due to the last Hurricane that hit Cancun, we would not be able to celebrate in Cancun after all. My sister, @atoliiz, was able to move us to a resort in Puerta Vallarta. We had so much fun despite not being able to stay at the resort we had originally booked. (This one in PV was NOT what we had paid for but we made the best of it) and we still had a BLAST!!

I’ve had a (safe) BLAST in Mexico. September and October treated me well. This last week I’ve spent most of my time near the ocean, in the ocean, and reflecting by the ocean. The beaches in Puerto Vallarta do not disappoint! Just don’t swim near the Malecón.

Crystal clear waters of Playa Chonchas Chinas greeted me will welcome waves. Had a wonderful relaxing time, and some silliness, playing in the water. Each night I would walk on the beach, barefoot, wondering what in the hell is happening to our world, and were we’re go from here. I don’t know. I didn’t come up with any bright ideas…but my body was relaxed – and I feel as if my soul has been renewed to come home and deal with my reality.

I’m not done here in Mexico. I’ve got more surprises up my sleeve. Until next time…

One of the things we love about traveling is sampling the local cuisine. And even though we are primarily vegan, every now and then we break away to try some local food.

One of our favorite foods is #Mexicanfood and to be more specific, Mexican #streetfood. Great Puerto Vallarta restaurants are plentiful, but nothing beats Puerto Vallarta tacos from the street. There is no way we could be in #PuertoVallarta and not hit up some of the best street tacos in Puerto Vallarta.

There are many Puerto Vallarta #foodtours, but we just went to Yelp, looked at street tacos ratings and reviews, and went from there. Luckily, we were staying in la Zona Romantica where the best food in Puerto Vallarta seems to be.
