There are plenty of hidden gems in the Banderas Bay region—for us it was walking the streets of the Malecon, Los Muertos Pier, catching a water taxi to Yelapa, a snorkel catamaran tour to the Marietas Islands National Park, visiting the little surf town of Sayulita and of course soaking in those dreaming Puerto Vallarta sunsets every night. Puerto Vallarta will be missed.
