What beaches did we visit?
Beach 1: Playa los Muertos
Beach 2: Playa Conchas Chinas
Beach 3: Playa Camarones
Beach 4: Playa Tranquila

Playa Los Muertos
Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic beach, full of energy, beach clubs, and its famous pier. Great for people-watching, sunset drinks, and LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a fun vibe.

Downside: It’s almost always crowded—don’t come here looking for peace and quiet.

Playa Conchas Chinas
A beautiful, tucked-away cove with tide pools, clear water, and a jungle backdrop. Perfect for couples, retirees, and anyone seeking a quiet, scenic beach day.

Downside: Few amenities and some rocky areas—bring snacks and water shoes.

Playa Camarones
A laid-back, local favorite with soft sand, swimmable waves, and tasty beach snacks. Ideal for families and casual afternoons at a beach club.

Downside: It can get busy on weekends—come midweek for a calmer vibe.

Playa Tranquila
Maybe the only beach in Vallarta we wouldn’t recommend.
