This is just my opinion and personal observation&#8230;if you\u2019ve been to PV and have something constructive to add, feel free to articulate it in the comments.  When we travel we try to be as un-touristy as possible, which isn\u2019t easy in Puerto Vallarta where tourism is such a big part of the economy, but being a major tourist destination does make PV an easy gateway for first time visitors to Mexico. So far we\u2019re loving it here&#8230;lots of things to see, friendly folks, great food, and kinda hot (if you\u2019re into hot).
