We&#8217;ve been so excited about this trip because *so* many people have told us we were going to love Puerto Vallarta, and they weren&#8217;t wrong! We only had a couple of days to explore things to do in Puerto Vallarta, but were not disappointed. We got to explore the Palo Maria Waterfall hike (although we didn&#8217;t make it all the way up the river because there was a storm coming) and the following day we had a blast taking a boat up to Boca de Tomatl\u00e1n and hiking up the coast to some beautiful beaches! We ended at Playa Las Animas, and have all the details on of everything we did over on the blog! In between those adventures, we walked up to the Mirador de la Cruz to watch the sunset and of course strolled along Puerto Vallarta&#8217;s famous Malec\u00f3n. This city has SO much to do and see, and we barely scratched the surface on this trip.
