We were very satisfied with our week long stay ending in mid January. This was our first time away from the hotel scene and we are delighted we did it. We wanted the flexibility to cook some meals (especially breakfast) and this setup worked out perfectly. It’s so much nicer lounging around a condo than a hotel room. I think this will become the preferred approach when we plan a week or longer vacation.

We felt the location was near perfect for us. We liked being in Old Town and near the Malecon. Access to great walkable restaurants was really nice. You would would want a taxi or bus to major grocery shopping but my wife met our needs with daily walks to some produce markets. Friday and Saturday nights can be a bit noisy but because our bedroom was at the other end, and away from the beach it wasn’t much of a problem.

The room was clean, appropriately furnished, and had all the dishes/utensils/etc that we needed. We arrived on a Saturday and had internet connectivity issues. I got a weak signal from the neighboring room but nothing from ours. It was fixed on Monday when the IT person came in. After that, the wi-fi was fine.

I would recommend Plaza Mar to anyone and we would definitely stay here again should we return to PV.
