The summer sun had barely risen when my children’s excited voices woke me. “Mom! The rhinestone package is here!” they shouted, their bare feet pounding down the hallway. As I rubbed sleep from my eyes, I saw the enormous box of LRISY wholesale rhinestone supplies we’d ordered – pounds of glittering AB crystals in every color imaginable – and knew this would be no ordinary summer break.

When school let out last June, I faced the universal parent dilemma: how to keep two energetic kids (Sophia, 9 and Noah, 6) creatively engaged for eight long weeks.
