My wife and I stayed at the Plaza Mar Condo 606 March 2 thru March 16 2013. This is an exceptional place in an exceptional area. Perfect views, the greatest restaurants within a 3 block radius. I do not think there is a bad condo at the Plaza Mar, as they all offer exceptional views. Our condo was very nice with no problems. Our maid, Maria was excellent and kept the condo clean. The front desk staff, Adriana and Elizabeth were always friendly and helpfull. Met the head of housekeeping, Mercedes, sweet lady. Also met Jeff Musto. He toured us in a future condo at the Plaza Mar. Nice to put a face with a voice. Jeff is doing a teriffic job managing these condos. We had a nice view of the ocean and the new pier, the mountains and the Cardenas Park where we watched several shows from our balcony. The rooftop view is spectacular. Pool is a little cool but you get used to it. Always a place to sit or relax on a lounge. We have been coming to PV since 1987 and had a timeshare part of that time. We have stayed in PV as long as two months and have done the tours and sightseeing from Punta Di Mita to Yelapa. We got rid of the timeshare and have stayed at two of Jeff’s Condo’s and have not been disappointed. We now are more into the relaxing mode, reading and planning where we will eat supper. Some extra advice about PV. $24 US from the Airport to Plaza Mar by airport taxi. Don’t get involved in the free ride because you will be signing up for a timeshare presentation. $120 pesos from the Plaza Mar to the Airport yellow taxi. $80 pesos to Costco by taxi or $6.50 peso by bus to Costco. No more Rizzos grocery. If you don’t want to go to Wal Mart or Sorianos, go to the Ley Grocery which is about 4 blocks north of the start of the Malecon or Hotel Rosita or McDonalds. Do your money exchange at the banks and bring your passport. You can pick the weekly PV Newspapers at the Municipal Building east side and any maps you need for free. We ate at the Taste of Italy, Andelaes, Sea Monkey, Por Favor, El Torito, (watch Gonzaga Basketball two nights at the El Torito, “Go Zags” No 1 in the NCAA)Nacho Daddy’s, and the La Tia. All good restaurant and some take Visa and have no problem with security on the Visa. Buy your booze at the La Playa which is just south of the Plaza Mar about a half block, (best prices in PV). Finally ;you can print your boarding passes at the front desk on your departure. I highly recommend the Plaza Mar to be included in your vacation plans. Thank you, Jeff. We will be back.
