When people move to Mexico and retire in Mexico, they think their life will be about beaches, margaritas, and relaxing. The reality is that gets BORING quickly. Because of this, we thought you’d like a peak into our life and how we spend our time. There are some many things to do in Puerto Vallarta, you never get bored.

01:25 Regarding the road blockage, we found out that a young woman named Clarisa lost her life in an automotive accident and her family felt the person who was responsible for the accident did not receive justice. You can search on # JusticiaParaClarisa. Given this, the family blockaded the road to get the attention of the government. The family has indicated via the press that they have received this attention and apologized to the community for the disruption. As parents especially ourselves, our hearts and condolences go out to Clarisa’s family.

Can You Still Live Like a King in Puerto Vallarta? That’s a question I answer today in this Real Cost of Living Breakdown video. Can you still live like a king in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico or has it become too expensive for expats from the United States and Canada? In this video, I break down the real cost of living in Puerto Vallarta and explain what daily life actually costs in 2026, including housing, rent vs buying, groceries, eating out, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and more. If you’re thinking about moving to Puerto Vallarta, retiring here, or buying a condo or home, this video will give you a realistic picture of what to expect, not just the highlight reel. I’ll also talk about how Puerto Vallarta compares to living in the U.S. and Canada, how the Mexican peso impacts your budget, and whether Puerto Vallarta is still worth it for expats in today’s market. In this video you’ll learn:

• How much it really costs to live in Puerto Vallarta
• Rent vs buying costs for expats• Grocery and restaurant prices
• Utilities, internet, and transportation costs
• Healthcare costs in Puerto Vallarta
• Whether you can still live comfortably — or even luxuriously
• Who Puerto Vallarta is best for in 2026

If you’re serious about buying a home or condo in Puerto Vallarta, you can book a private call with me to talk through your options, neighborhoods, pricing, and whether purchasing here makes sense for your goals.
